About Me

My name is Beata Blaszczok, and I am a Polish artist based in Ireland. I had a strong passion for art since a very young age. Growing up, you would always see me with crayons and a piece of paper, drawing and falling asleep underneath the tables or corners of rooms with crayons by my side. Travelling always played a big part in my life. As a family we would travel on the weekends to different forests, resorts and parks around Poland. My parents are very active, outdoor people and nature lovers, which reflects in the person that I am today and inspired my deep love for nature, which is central to my art practice. Being artistic helps me to fully express myself and to show my attention to the smallest of details as well as my love for the natural world.

I would describe myself as a painter, photographer, designer and sculptor. I love doing little craft projects along the way. I don't like limiting myself to one medium as the usage of different mediums and methods helps me to express my vision fully in each project. I might not be a regular artist with one niche that works with one medium, but I love experimenting and using everything that is available to us on Earth.

I graduated with a Fine Art Degree from Technological University, Dublin in 2020. My written thesis involved an investigation of drawings and the control of the medium through manual drawing, digital drawing and drawing created by external forces.

A Bit About My Art Practice

My artistic journey is an exploration of the intricate relationship between nature and the human spirit. As a fine art graduate, my practice primarily centers around the mediums of painting and photography, which serve as my canvas for interpreting the profound beauty of the natural world.

The vibrant tapestry of the natural world has always been my muse, a source of endless inspiration. I find solace in the rhythm of seasons, the dance of light and shadow, and the kaleidoscope of colors that nature effortlessly weaves into its fabric. These elements form the foundation of my work, and through them, I seek to convey the timeless connection between humanity and the environment.

Color, in particular, plays a pivotal role in my creative process. It is not merely a visual sensation but a language through which I communicate emotions, memories, and narratives. I strive to harness the power of color to evoke a sense of wonder and nostalgia, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the sensory experience of my art.

My artistic journey is an ongoing dialogue with the natural world, a conversation that deepens with every stroke of paint and every click of the camera. Each piece I create is a testament to the profound aesthetic beauty that surrounds us, often taken for granted in our fast-paced lives. I aim to capture fleeting moments, hidden details, and the grandeur of landscapes, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the world around them.

In an era where the hustle and bustle of modern life can obscure our connection to nature, my art serves as a reminder of the enduring and enchanting bond that exists between humanity and the environment. Through painting and photography, I strive to inspire a renewed appreciation for the natural world, encouraging a harmonious coexistence where beauty, both subtle and grand, is celebrated and protected.

My work is a testament to the idea that art has the power to transcend boundaries, evoke emotions, and ignite conversations. I invite you to join me on this artistic journey, where the canvas becomes a window into the soul of nature, and colors tell stories that resonate with the human spirit.

Thank you for sharing in my exploration of the beauty that surrounds us.
